1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Site or applying to participate in our lunches, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Service.
2. Eligibility
- You must be 18+ and legally capable of entering into contracts.
- We may require identity verification.
- Participation is by selection only. Submission of an application does not guarantee selection.
3. What We Offer
- From time to time, we organize networking lunches. Some seats may be free of charge for selected individuals.
- Selection is at our sole discretion based on event goals (e.g., role, industry fit, diversity of backgrounds, schedule availability).
- We may change, postpone, or cancel events. Where feasible, we’ll notify confirmed participants by email or phone.
4. No Purchase, No Employment, No Agency
- There is no purchase necessary to apply for free seats.
- Participation does not create any employment, partnership, agency, or franchise relationship.
5. Participant Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information in your application.
- Inform us in advance of any dietary restrictions or allergies. We will try to accommodate but cannot guarantee.
- Behave respectfully and comply with venue rules and applicable laws. We may refuse or remove participants for misconduct.
6. Costs and Taxes
- If you receive a free seat, we cover the pre-agreed meal costs only.
- You are responsible for any additional orders, transport, accommodation, and any tax implications arising from receiving a benefit.
7. Intellectual Property
- The Site and its content are owned by us or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any content without permission.
- You may submit content (e.g., profile, bio, links). You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use such content to operate and promote the Service. You represent you have the rights to grant this license.
8. Photo/Video & Testimonials
- Events may be photographed or recorded. We will request your consent at the event for identifiable use.
- With your consent, you grant us the right to use your image, likeness, name, and testimonials for promotional purposes in any media, without further payment. You may withdraw consent later (this will not affect past lawful uses).
9. Privacy
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy (see below). By using the Site or applying to events, you acknowledge that you have read it.
10. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Misuse the Site (spam, scraping beyond what robots.txt allows, reverse engineering, security testing without consent).
- Infringe any laws, third-party rights, or privacy of others.
- Impersonate others or submit misleading information.
11. Third-Party Services
Events may take place at third-party venues or use third-party platforms (e.g., calendaring, forms, email delivery). Their terms and privacy practices apply where relevant.
12. Disclaimers
- The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”.
- We do not guarantee selection, availability of events, or outcomes (e.g., business opportunities).
- While we aim to consider dietary information, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free experience.
13. Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or data arising from use of the Site/Service.
- Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed €200 or, if you paid any amount to participate, the amount you paid, whichever is higher.
- Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Spanish law (e.g., death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud).
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site/Service, breach of these Terms, or violation of laws or third-party rights.
15. Changes
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on the Site with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Site/Service at any time for any reason. Sections intended to survive (e.g., IP, liability, indemnity) shall survive termination.
17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes are subject to the courts of Barcelona (Spain), without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights.

3. Special Categories (Dietary/Allergies)

- Vendors/Processors: email/SMS providers, form tools, scheduling, CRM, analytics, cloud hosting, and event venues/caterers (only what they need).
